HalfAccessible is a digital accessibility consultancy. Holding ourselves to the same standard we audit for our clients is part of how we operate, so this statement is reviewed and updated as our own site changes.
Our Commitment
We aim to make halfaccessible.com conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. WCAG 2.2 AA is the same standard we test our clients against, and the same standard referenced by most accessibility laws worldwide, including the ADA, Section 508, the UK’s PSBAR, Canada’s AODA, and the EU’s European Accessibility Act.
Conformance Status
This website is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Fully conformant means the content fully meets the accessibility standard without exceptions.
Known Limitations
We are not aware of any open WCAG 2.2 Level AA issues. If you find a barrier, please tell us using the feedback details below.
How We Test
We test using a combination of automated scanning (including axe-core), manual keyboard navigation, and screen reader testing with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver, the same methodology we use for client audits. Our specialists hold IAAP CPACC, WAS, and CPWA certifications.
Technical Specifications
Accessibility of halfaccessible.com relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
