What does HalfAccessible do?

We provide manual and automated accessibility audits, remediation, VPAT and ACR documentation, monitoring, and training for websites, web apps, mobile apps, SaaS products, and documents, tested against WCAG 2.2 AA and related standards like ADA, Section 508, and the European Accessibility Act.

How much does an accessibility audit cost?

We offer a $100 1-Hour Accessibility Consultation, a $500 Quick Accessibility Audit, a $2,000 Complete Audit, and custom Enterprise pricing for larger platforms. See our pricing page for full details.

What is WCAG 2.2 and why does it matter?

WCAG 2.2 is the current W3C technical standard for web accessibility. Most accessibility laws worldwide, including the ADA, Section 508, the EAA, PSBAR, and AODA, reference WCAG directly or use it as the practical benchmark for compliance.

Do you only work with businesses in India?

No. We audit and support clients internationally, including in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and the European Union, alongside deep expertise in India’s own regulatory framework under the RPwD Act and IS 17802.

How long does an accessibility audit take?

Timeline depends on scope. A small marketing website may take a few days, while an enterprise SaaS product or large document set may take several weeks. We confirm scope and timeline before starting any engagement.

What is a VPAT and do I need one?

A VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) documents how a product conforms to accessibility standards. You typically need one if you sell to enterprise or government buyers whose procurement process requires accessibility documentation.

Do automated scanning tools catch everything?

No. Automated tools reliably catch roughly 30 to 40 percent of accessibility issues. Keyboard traps, unclear focus order, confusing screen reader announcements, and unclear error messages generally require manual testing by a trained specialist to catch.

Do you offer ongoing accessibility monitoring?

Yes. Our Accessibility Monitoring and Governance service tracks your site over time so new pages and features do not quietly reintroduce barriers.

What happens after you find issues on our site?

You receive a developer-ready report with severity ratings, standard references, and reproduction steps. We also offer remediation services to fix the issues directly if you would rather not handle fixes in-house.

Is halfaccessible.com itself fully accessible?

We aim for full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance and test our own site regularly, but we are honest that it is currently partially conformant. See our accessibility statement for the specific items we are still working through.
